Katana Sword

These katanas are beautiful and strong. The cherry hardwood blade has straight, uniform grain alignment for structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. A cross-laminated black walnut guard makes these katanas both durable and handsome. They are perfect for play, cosplay, and simply displaying for others to admire.

Amanda started making these for our godsons and found out pretty quickly they were a hit. Within minutes of laying eyes on them, other boys came to me asking if I could make more for them to buy.

This wooden katana is handcrafted from local wood, much of which comes from our own wooded property. My husband mills the wood with our sawmill, we kiln dry it in our homemade dehumidification kiln and then I surface and shape it in our wood shop.
